NOW That's What I Call a Musical

NOW That's What I Call a Musical at Kings Theatre

Why see NOW That's What I Call a Musical?

Relive The Biggest Hits Of The 80s!

With Sinitta, Sonia and Carol Decker!*

Plenty of us fondly remember rushing down to the shops to pick up each new release of "NOW, That's What I Call Music!", the thrice-yearly compilation of Top-10 hits that has become a mainstay in British culture since the 80s. Now, from comedian Pippa Evans and director and choreographer Craig Revel Horwood (Strictly Come Dancing) comes a brand new musical inspired by the classic compilations! Premiering in Autumn 2024, NOW That's What I Call A Musical tells a story which many of us lived, through the classic songs from "NOW..." compilations through the ages!

What Is The Story?

The musical's plot revolves around two school friends in the year 1989, their lives soundtracked by the "NOW..." compilations, before jumping forward to when the pair are re-united two decades later. Featuring hits by many of the best loved artists from the best-loved editions of "NOW...", such as Whitney Houston, Tears For Fears, Wham!, Spandau Ballet, Blondie, and many more. It's a celebration of pop music's joyous imprint and the lasting impact it has on our lives, as "NOW That's What I Call Music" approaches its 40th anniversary!
