Two innovative modern works

 Scottish Ballet presents two stunning modern works by two groundbreaking choreographers, Dickson Mbi and Cayetano Soto, in Twice Born at Glasgow's Theatre Royal. The Cameroonian-born, London-raised dancer and choreographer Dickson has become world-famous for his innovative take on Hip Hop dance. Alongside acclaimed collaborations with musical artists ranging from Black Eyed Peas to Robbie Williams, his show Enowate at London's Sadler's Wells earned him a nomination for outstanding achievement at the 2023 Olivier Awards.

Spanish-born Cayetano Soto, meanwhile, presents a unique work with an equestrian theme; Schachmatt. Earning plaudits at its world premiere, the piece involves an enormous chess board upon which the dancers move.
