Scottish Ballet present Sophie Laplane and James Bonas' new production of Mary, Queen of Scots in Glasgow this September! It's a powerful work and refreshing take on a well known story, exploring the turbulence of Elizabeth I's memories - or imaginations - of her cousin and one of history's most fascinating monarchs, Mary, Queen Of Scots. 

The Scottish Queen's psychological turmoil during her journey from queen to prisoner is a familiar part of history, with betrayals aplenty everywhere she looked. Laplane and Bonas' new work shifts the perspective, breathing fresh new life into the captivating tale. Joined by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra and with incredible sets designed by Soutra Gilmour, don't miss this dramatic modern take on one of the most famous periods in British history.
