No thrills in this thriller
Great sets but storyline to fragmented and delivered with little inrensity so its like storytelling as thete is a lot of narrative The leads do well to iinject some pace and Silas is the o ly one who makes it excitin. Some of the acting is to wooden or robotic. Could be v good if more atmosphere. Lighting needs more varation with greater use of light n dark and music was too loud at Bromley. Ok so it is first week preview in Uk with a new cast.
Disappointing
I knew the story of course, but for someone who didn’t, until towards the end of the first half it would be a total bafflement. This wouldn’t have been helped by the soundtrack masking the narrative. Apart from Danny, I found the acting wooden with cues missed and rather hammy performances. Spoiler alert…if you discovered you were a direct descendant of Jesus, would you show some emotion? Added to this hooded figures waving lights about….no, definitely not for me.
Wooden
Saw it in Bromley. It was very poor. Firstly, the lead male actor does an American accent, however, the lead actress doesn’t even try to speak with a french accent, which was just weird and her acting style leave a lot to be desired. There was loads of times the actors forget lines and was just plain wooden. If you know the story, this was bad and if you don’t it was just plain confusing.
Very boring story
I found the Da Vinci code very boring, the acting was good and the music, but it was dull and so boring. I wouldn't watch it again. It was putting me to sleep.
